I sent the Empire VIP support group a fairly grouchy note late last night and linked to this thread. I mentioned that I was not comfortable playing Empire while this was going on. They replied this morning to apologize for the problem and assure me that the tech team was "looking in to the problem." They also promised me an update later. I hope this means they know they have a problem and will finally do something about it.

I've been noticing the same since the last update. Of the 3-4 tables I have open a single table has all players disconnect. You then get the "establishing connection" message and back to business for a few hands (rinse+repeat). FWIW I use a router, cable modem, live in Canada and connect oevr wireless. Since this only occurs at a single table of the 3-4 I have open and happens to ALL the other players at this same table, I can only assume that the problem is at Empires end.

Keep this thread alive with any news from Party and friends.

Its been happening a lot to me recently. One or two tables go to "establishing connection" but the others are fine (as is browsing the web, email etc.) It usually reconnects after a few seconds (i haven't been timed out yet), but its obviously very annoying.

Anyone else have the same problem?

Lately its been happening to me frequently as well. It's annoying as hell.

First time for me was last night at empire. Everyone at the table thought it was table specific. I had 3 .50-$1 tables open and one $1-$2 table open. Only the 1-2 table was doing this. After I left the table I had no further problems.

It was happening to me last night. Three tables would be working fine and the fourth (always the same table) would keep disconnecting. To make things even more annoying, sometimes a web browser window would pop up with a message saying everything was fine at Party and the problem must be on my end. Yeah right. Three out of four tables are working and everyone on the fourth table is having connection problems and the problem is on my end. Idiots.

I think one of their servers (or its network connection) was acting up. The tables on that server (or group of servers) were having problems. The tables on the other servers were working fine (or as close to fine as Party can get). It might be best just to switch tables when one starts acting up. If you're lucky, the one you switch to won't also be screwed up.

I think this is true, b/c I had the problem spring up on a few tables, but not others. Sucked that it seemed to happen on my best tables. It's still happening?

Edit: this was only last night though. Never had this problem before.

It just happened to me again several times in the last half hour at Eurobet. Gettin' pretty tiresome. I'm going down to the pool.
