Could someone, David or other, explain to me why he wouldn't want to play Hold-em. I mean he's written about it, Daniel plays it, he plays it. I don't see the problem but im sure there is a reason that is over my head.

[/ QUOTE ]

David believe he is more of a favorite (or less of an underdog?) at 8-or-better stud. Simple as that.

You're missing the point. DN specifically called out DS and MM, but the stakes Daniel wants to play at are too big for them. So if he wants the match, he has to play for smaller stakes.

I think csuf_gambler should man up and play Sklansky for $10,000.

Change it to 10k + some embarassing [censored] or something. If I were Daniel and I walk to the cashier with 10k to buy-in for tournaments regularly (I assume he isn't being backed) then I would need something to play for to try my best. I realize egos are at stake, but protecting the ego with "I don't care" afterwards is an easily employed tactic.

I don't get it--Daniel's offer was to play headsup matches for 100K-500K--why are you wasting your time and insulting our and his intelligence by continuing to come back with (non)-offers that Daniel isn't going to accept?

CSUF gambler never claimed to be of Nobel prize caliber nor King of the Goofy Games.

Starting a thread where he says he accepts the odds but at 10% of the stakes is laughable IMO. Do you see why?

Just repeating what I said on another thread that I would play Daniel, at the Wynn, accepting his ten percent rebate offer, if he will play for $10,000. Eight or Better Stud. 150-300, $25 ante, $50 bring in. No media publicity. Will play a second game at least, if I win the first.

This is not a challenge or even really an offer. Just a statement of fact. I expect Daniel will only consider playing to satisfy his curiosity. Without big money or publicity, its otherwise irrelevant to him.

And to those who think the 10-9 negates a significant skill difference, I also offered to LAY those same odds (10K to 9 K playing the same game) to anybody (other than Daniel) who criticized me (up to this point of course) on any of the threads involving this subject.

Isn't there a zero missing somewhere in this post?

With sincere respect David, you look like a poodle barking at a pit bull.

Default Let\'s get David STAKED!

[ QUOTE ]
David I will happily take 5K of your action against Negreanu via FedEx'd cash or cashier's check getting 11:10, hassle free to you

[/ QUOTE ]

If Matt Flynn and David Sklansky both tell me they honostly believe getting 11:10 is a +EV bet in this game, you can count me in for 5k as well. I'll be in vegas on and off throughout June, so I can probably be there when the match is played with cash in hand.
