Isn't open limping a bad play?

Do you call a 3xBB raise after you limped? A 5xBB?

1. Call
2. Call
3. Call
4. call.
these hands will seldom win unimproved in a big ring game. You also have no positional advantage. You want to see the flop, and if you hit trips you know the drill.
By the way, when you do hit trips UTG, you can make a lot of money with them because they sometimes are up against under trips. yahoo!!

I raise all of them.

If you flop top set, you want to get money in the pot with them, and you'll get a lot more money in the pot if you raise PF and c-bet it just like you would if you missed. And of course, you'll win the pot in other ways too, like c-betting when you don't hit trips and having others fold... or c-betting, getting called, hitting trips on the turn, etc.
