No TT I would have won the hand, tough that would have been a misplay also bacause I could have won more. And sorry about my last post I misread what you posted and thought you were being a jerk, wich you weren't. I will be more careful next time. Thanks again.

hey dude, this is exactly what i'm trying to get at. it doesn't matter whether you win or lose a certain hand. what matters is that you make the right decisions. the fact that he happened to have the oddball hand in this case does not make your turn decision any different from when he has TT or something else.

don't let the results trick you, and i'm sorry if i came off as a dick in the second post, because i thought you were being a dick in your (now deleted) response. we can now enjoy a beer together.

I will post the results later.

Don't bother. He obviously had 76o or you wouldn't have posted this. He should've capped preflop and raised the flop...he left money on the table, and you should send him a Christmas card for not taking more of yours. Oh, and UTG+2 was clearly in cahoots with MP1 (how did you get a seat between UTG+2 and MP1, anyhoo?) and was just in there to bloat the pot so MP1's odds would be right on the turn to call your bet*.

Don't ever play aces again. They ALWAYS get sucked out on.

Glum (you remember me, from the old "Gulliver's Travels" tee-vee show?)

*If you'd made the right play and bet out your aces on the turn, the Party card "randomizer" might've been nicer to you and not completed his straight on the river. Dumbass.

This is huge...and I am talking family size. The first time someone told me "don't be results oriented" (if memory serves me correctly it was shant replying to one of my B&M posts on the SS forum) I was completely confused by the statement. But once you understand this it really changes your outlook on the hands that you play, which in turn changes (improves) your game.

Good luck!

Huh? Wha? What happened? I kind of blacked out, watching the Penn St game on ESPN, and just woke up sitting at my computer. I feel kind of angry and depressed, like I just heard a bad-beat story...
