Thanks Chris. Your 26.5/17 stats have inspired us all.

How some of you people put up with playing thousands of hands a day is beyond me. Most I ever manage is one session of 6-tabling every other day for 3-4 hours at a time, 1-2 hours if I run g00t.

When I first started "playing for a living" I had a real hard time forcing myself to play.

It took me 3 months before I realized that unless I wanted to find a job real soon now, I was going to have to play 1000 hands a day several days a week, and it's worked to the tune of 50k hands in the last 60 days, even if I find myself hating poker some days. It looks like 6-tabling isn't doing active harm to my game, so hopefully I'll be able to reduce my hours by 1/3 or increase my hands by half, depending on my mood on any given day.

Also, I'm my own hero, cause I've had my first $1000+ day today, which is making my september stats a lot handsomer.

Give 5/10 a shot or two after 9 pm your time. When you have tables with avg. pots in excess of 9 BBs the games seem loosey goosey and pretty familiar to a 3/6 regular like me. At least that's what I've found over my first 1K 5/10 hands.

You forgot to mention (1) the converter, (2) ruthless sarcasm and (3) drinking without peeing.

It's very dangerous. Sometimes when I'm running good I take days, weeks off at a time (and I only "work" during the summer), and then I find as the school year tails to the end I didn't make enough $$ in the summer.

6-tabling is definitely a grind, but once you start playing more than, oh, four tables, I don't think adding a few more detracts from your game that much.

I know you take meticulous notes on players' postflop actions. You must find this extremely difficult now.

At 3/6, right? That is truly awesome.

Without reading any of the posts, I'm just going to state that Bison is everyone's hero.

You cannot multitable like crazy if you have a stigma against pissing in a bottle.
