Would you guys believe this is a Cubs fan trying to make St Louis look bad? Yes - that is what it is. Cubswin's real identity comes out!

Thank you,

[ QUOTE ]
I am looking for a user willing to let me lose money on Prima to them in exchange for money on Stars.

I have about 100$ on Prima Poker. Can I lose it to you at a table and you transfer me 95$ on Poker Stars?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the mods should consider a new rule that forbids these potentially fraudulant posts. Users that make these suggestions of trades are often scammers or people who are very misguided and may get an honest player in trouble for something that appears to be chip dumping. At the very least it is almost a lose/lose for anyone taking the OP up on an offer.

As many times as I have seen people screwed here and RGP on thse schemes it seems it would be a good idea to not allow these posts as you would not want a newbie to come in here and fall for one of these scams. It may turn them off to poker completely or at the very least the 2+2 forums.

For you newbies out there FYI there is virtually no reason why anyone would have to do this type of chip dump. For a player to have money on one of these sites to begin with they must have had some sort of online processor run it and they have an account with a widely accepted processor such as Neteller, Firepay or Citadel. If this was legit they would just cash out from the room and deposit it by their processor. If they are not wanting to cash out of a room there could be a degree of fraud involved in their chips. You could transfer this money between yourselves and weeks down the road have your account locked because this other player got these chips through chip dumping, charge backs or some other fraud. Now you look like a participant in the fraud with the thief and your account is locked, possibly forever, with all of your money potentially lost. IMO and in most people's eyes there is no reason to ever help someone you dont know in this situation. It will almost always turn out bad.

Sorry for the PSA but I hate these posts with the number of people I see get screwed I just want to warn the newbies.

My viewpoint as taken from a post last month:

[ QUOTE ]
I am not sure what the 'official 2+2 view' is on transfer requests. I will provide what my view is. This may or may not be the same as 2+2's. If not, Mat is welcome to provide feedback and I will moderate per his request.

I think we are all here seeking help from fellow posters. Help may be defined as poker advice, technical pc advice, bonus notifications, deposit/transfer assistance, etc. Assisting others is what a public forum is all about.

That being said all is still 'caveat emptor'. Whether you are helping others or being helped you must utilize common sense. This holds true for money transfers, computer system modifications or any other peer-to-peer assistance.

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

Many players do not have online payment processor accounts. These accounts often take days to fully set up. Also poker site to neteller often takes two to seven days. I have helped many players create and fund accounts. On most sites you can transfer money from one account to another.

I do agree with many of your statements though. You need to be very careful when dealing with 'strangers'. I have made a few of these transfers to other players. One was BlueBear, the poster with the problem outlined on CasinoMeister. That transaction went through flawlessly. I have yet to be swindled but it could happen!

Thank you,

What part of the act of me responding led you to believe that it may be my response?

My response is SIIHP, the rest is just decoration.
