I believe I drank Guiness bottles while playing at the Plaza downtown.

Although, those days downtown were pretty hazy. I do have a picture of myself in Glitter Gulch with a drink in one hand, a stripper on my lap, at least a pound of beef jerky in the other hand.

Downtown is wierd.

Are you sure about that? It is quite easy to confuse the strippers and the beef jerky downtown.

Monte Carlo served Guniness in the nitro bottles when I was there last year. No idea now though.

I also prefer premium b00ze so I just walk up to the bar nearest the poker room and ask the bartender before I sit down. Probably makes me look like more of a regular if anyone at the table is paying attention anyway.

The best beer is rather subjective, as most players prefer
bud or corona for some reason, but my favorite brew while playing are the microbrews at the Monte Carlo. The bar is
adjacent to the cardroom, so you can stop there first and get the scoop on what's available before sitting down. Even better microbrews can be found at the Main Street Station, but for some reason, they don't have a poker room.

No discussion of comped poker room beer is complete without mentioning the CW's at Mandalay Bay. One must think of the total free beer experience.

Agree that the MSS is a much better beer then Monte Carlo. The Black Chip is the best. Although it's not a pleasent smell in the morning after a dozen of them the night before.

It is rather odd that none of the Boyd casinos have a poker room....
