Once it makes things harder to read, that's an issue.

You might mean Mr. Blonde, but he wasn't Mr. Yellow. In fact, when handing out the names, Joe even makes reference to the fact that Mr. Yellow would be a horrible name ("at least you're not Mr. Yellow").
