As I understand it, Paul was in a war with the Binion management (Becky Binion, I believe) over something he said to the media while playing in the WSOP several years ago. Now that the casino is controlled by non-Binions, Paul can go back (and did go back) this year.

I know I am missing a lot of details, but my memory sucks. Maybe Paul (or someone else) will fill in the missing parts. You also may be able to locate the full story on his journal or on RGP.
