Default Re: LDN\'s Bad Session- Hand #1 PP 2/5 NL - AQs

[ QUOTE ]
OK - so then what hands are worthy of a raise out of position?

only AA-QQ?
how about AKo, AKs, and JJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think every hand that you have just mentioned here is worthy of a raise in this situation, just watch out for limp-raisers!

[ QUOTE ]
I'm learning that NL is much more of a position game than limit.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't play limit, but position is very important in NL because you are more likely to be losing a lot more chips out of position.

[ QUOTE ]
How about calling a raise here?

[/ QUOTE ]

It depends how many people are in the hand, how big the player's stacks are and where they have raised from. Also, if you know that this player likes to open up with SC's and such I might re-raise to see where I'm at (depending on the situation).

[ QUOTE ]
Let's say there are 1-2 limpers than a standard LP raise of 4-5XBB?
Do you call out of position with AQs? Why or why not?

[/ QUOTE ]

If this is the situation than, depending on the player, I either raise, fold, or call, it really depends on the player though.

You had outs. Still that sucks, exactly why 25 would've been good, no implied odds. Even though he had that set, you were still only a 70-30 dog.
