Do you know I know you're gay? Because you time the thrust frequency of other guys' air-humping.

Re: Put to the test on the river
Hero curses his luck and ... calls.
I like the turn bet. My guess at his hand in order or likelihood: 1) A2 + something that doesn't beat you for the high 2) Flush and he now could be free rolling to counterfeit you 3) A2 of diamonds in which case you take your lumps 4) Set, 2 pair, or other garbage. I think that 2 is likely but 1 is much more likely so I like the bet. On the river you now know that he wasn't drawing at the nut flush and you are getting better then 3:1 on your money so I call. |

[/ QUOTE ] How often would you pot it on the river with something like A2 with top pair on that board if your opponent checked the turn? How often would you fold if your opponent potted the turn on that board with that same hand? (I'm not trying to make a point, i'm curious as to what your actual answer would be) --g |

How often would you pot it on the river with something like A2 with top pair on that board if your opponent checked the turn? [/ QUOTE ] Almost every time. [ QUOTE ] How often would you fold if your opponent potted the turn on that board with that same hand? [/ QUOTE ] If my opponent was TGoldman again almost every time. However the reason that we play O8 is because there are so many bad players out there who would call a turn bet with a naked nut low. That is the reason that we 3/4 people so often. You do have a point though I guess it really depends on the opponent. If the opponent is bad I would continue to drive. If your opponent is TA and you put him on an A2 then checking the turn is the way to go. |
