Re: Anna Kournikova
[ QUOTE ]
His range of hands with a K that you beat >>>> those you don't. He's 3-betting lots of trips that you beat. [/ QUOTE ] this denies the information that he only called our turn raise and has now bet/3-bet the river. ie. why would he not 3-bet the turn with just trip kings yet 3-bet the river with them? |

Re: Anna Kournikova
Then why didn't he go ape-[censored] on the turn? Why save it for the river? Villian knows we have a trips, and its not slowing him down. I'd have a hard time capping the river considering the action of the previous streets

Maybe he thinks he's catching our hand in the cookie jar with J/J? This is the problem I have when I play fish. I expect them to play rationally. If Villain was anyone on this board and could beat A/K in this situation, you would have capped the turn in a heartbeat. Then I would have accepted the possibility of being behind and would have backed off on the river. The only other explanation I have for his strange turn/river play is that he had K/7, boated up on the turn, and is doing the fishy-patented "wait a street" move. |

And though it's past editing time, in an above post I obviously meant "I have top kicker, there can't be a chop unless he also has A/K."
Obviously. |

Grunch
Dude...WTF? If he had KQ and sucked out on you then.... Look, You should be leaning on that raise button until your finger hurts. Raise the flop, His c/r is telling you he probably has the case King. If he played a pair of 2's then so be it, you'll pay him off. Make him pay to draw to his 3 outs if he's got the other K. Based on how the hand went down the donk bet on the river by as LPP makes me think he hit his 14:1 shot....I would have to think before hitting the raise button. I might do it once, but when he 3-bets I'm definately calling. |

Re: Anna Kournikova
With his reraise on the river (now knowing he's not that aggressive), I call the three bet, fearing a chop or worst case KQ.

Re: Anna Kournikova
Ok, im not a stat expert, but from what I understand, 0.8 isn't that low considering he plays so many hands. I mean when you play 50%+ hands, you can't go all that crazy or you're playing like a maniac. I like the river cap, because he's paying you off with [censored] kickers a lot.
