Therefore if Fossilman wins, the money they made from people betting on Ivey et all will be used to pay the winner who bet on the other horse, and vice-versa. Assuming people bet roughly equally on each player (weighted to the amount they must pay given a win) they are almost guaranteed to make money so long as enough people bet on the event. |
