What's the usual buyin for these live 4/8 games? $300?

At Bellagio, a LOT of people buy into the $4/8 short stacked with only one rack of blue ($100). Personally, I prefer to come into a $4/8 for $150. It's actually pretty rare for someone to come into a $4/8 for anywhere close to $300, even at Bellagio and Wynn. It does happen, but not as often as you would think.

I think 25BB is pretty standard. I always buy in for $200 and a lot of others do as well.

Reload if you get down to about 10BB. You don't want to wind up all-in with the nuts.

Definitely, always have at least 12 big bets sitting in front of you, so you can take maximum advantage if you have a great hand.

If you're going to be religious about this, you need 15 BBs in most Vegas casinos, as the cap is 5 bets.
