like alcohol, gambling has ruined many the life of those who couldn't practice it in moderation - the reaction of those folks is to then vigorously attack it if it played a role in damaging their lives.
I had a girl I dated who was a bit uptight about it - turns out her mother was asian and a helluva gambler - another one I dated had her grandpa blow his retirement in 6 mos. in WI casinos - so she wasn't cool with it either. just the way life goes, I guess - RB

My whole family is full of gamblers, so I guess I'm lucky.
My brother used to goto a casino and win 10-20k at craps at times. But he picked the wrong game I guess because mom pays some of his bills lol. Ex
