Nah, just giving my take on their reply. I tried it myself, but no go.

I don't normally play NL, so if your experience is that this has never been possible, the guy probably just found some obscure bug in the system (that they don't even realise is a bug).

Yeah it was probably just a little glitch. I hate the way they give stupid answers to these kind of questions though. Even the way they say it is within the rules to do this

Weird. I requested the hand histories, and it doesn't look right at all.

Edit:
***** Hand History for Game 1811982439 *****
Seat 2: d1sterbd ( $10.7)

***** Hand History for Game 1811983164 *****
Seat 2: d1sterbd ( $89.3)
Not that I think one should be able to do this, but the math works out:

First time he adds, his balance is $10.7.

$50-$10.7 = $39.3

If he did it again, before the first top-up takes effect, he'll add $39.3 twice.

$10.7 + $39.3 + $39.3 = $89.3

Well spotted Locklow, thats what probably happened. But that has to be a technical glitch, right?

I always enjoy asking Party Support questions about posts here, just to see the different answers.

Here's this one:

"Dear Michaela,

Thank you for contacting us.

We would like to inform you that the player "d1sterbd" lost his complete money on the table and he bought the maximum of "$50.00" to the table as we have thoroughly checked the hand histories of the player. However, we thank you for bringing this issue to our notice.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to assist you via email.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

Such BS!

Since they basically told me it is possible (and within the rules!) to top up beyond $50 at a $50 NL table,coupled with the fact that they still have not replied to my previous one along the same lines, I sent them the following email;

Dear Support,
Going by the below answer I received from you in response to my earlier question, it is, according to you, within the rules and possible to top up beyone the normal table max buy-in. So, according to you, if you are at a $50 NL 6 max cash game, it is possible to top up your stack beyond $50. Could you please tell me how to do this, as it would certainly be an advantage to my game.

Regards

Default They\'ve owned up

Dear Cian,

Thank you for contacting us.

To provide a proper balance and ensure as even and balanced a contest as possible, the players joining at a No Limit or Pot Limit tables are limited to carry only a certain amount to the tables.

Hence, ideally a player would only be able to take a maximum of a $50.00 to a No Limit or a Pot Limit $50 table. However, the player would be allowed to keep any extra amount that he wins above the permitted $50 at the table when he wins the extra money.

We have observed that there has been a deviation in this case. This is the reason why we have escalated the issue to our technical department and they are looking into it.

We request you to allow us some time while they look into the issue and get back to us so that we can communicate the same to you.

We thank you for your co-operation and patience and most importantly for bringing this to our notice.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to assist you via email.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

With Best Regards,

Srinivas

LOL.. I didn't think anyone else noticed this at the table. I lost a hand and then I reloaded while I still had my whole cards from the next hand. It didn't credit me so I did it again and it credited my account twice giving me more money than the max buy in. I think that is what happened anyway. I tried it again after that and it didn't work again. It was weird because I had to check to make sure I lost the previous hand like.

Heh heh...thats crazy! I was going to ask you what happened at the actual table, but I didnt bother. Suppose it would have been the easiest thing to do after all

Oh, and that hand you lost previously, was against me
