Re: Want to loosen up the table a little, receive the \'WTF?\'
[ QUOTE ]
And since when do we care about table image at Party 2/4? [/ QUOTE ] The "WTF?" from someone at the table demonstrates perfectly that table image is important in any game. Of course, how you adjust your play based on it is very game-specific and varies quite a bit at different levels; you'd make a lot more image-building plays in a 100-200 game than a 2/4 game, for instance (not that I've ever played 100-200). But it's important here nonetheless. -McGee |

The "WTF?" from someone at the table demonstrates perfectly that table image is important in any game. [/ QUOTE ] Not all WTFs are equal. A WTFer who calls a raise OOP with 96o is probably thinking WTF several times a hand, devaluing any WTF you may get. This particular WTF you'd probably just as soon leave in the penny tray at the corner liquor store so it doesn't clutter your pockets. |

Re: Want to loosen up the table a little, receive the \'WTF?\'
This is a totally standard blind-stealing hand for me, as are any two cards above 9, pretty much every A, every pair, and everything I think might have some kind of decent advantage against two random hands.
Nice hand. It's great when stuff works out like this. |

Nicely done.
I guess sometimes perception is NOT reality... |

Re: Want to loosen up the table a little, receive the \'WTF?\'
If the blinds are anything but loose, this hand is completely standard. With no reads, I'm playing it the same way anyway because it's fun and a good way to put some players on tilt.

I love guys like this. He calls 1.5 bets out of position with 69o, and then gets mad because you weren't raising with a "real" hand? Would he has been happier if you beat him with AA instead?

Re: Want to loosen up the table a little, receive the \'WTF?\'
That was the best part of the hand. After the 'WTF?' I replied with 'flush beats a pair'. He then let into me with the idiot remarks, raising with garbage, yada yada.

I don't understand why he says WTF after calling you down with 69 with 3 overcards on the board. WTF did he expect.
