I see this all the time. I don't think it's a problem as long as you don't get forced into that situation.

Last year on a trip to Vegas at the Monte Carlo I saw the same thing with these two old men at the 4/8, and the one guy would tell the table unsolicited that they had an agreement to check it down when heads up every time they did it. Funny thing was that they ended up heads up on a flop, and after checking it down the one guy would have won a $500 for hitting quads, but there wasn't enough money in the pot so he got $7. Couldn't stop chuckling.

What's great is later on when these idiots are bemoaning the fact that they are stuck or whatever when if they'd have played their buds a little harder, they'd have easily been up. Or they complain about losing the pot when they do this.

It is common for some to just check it when HU. For some reason they're ass just tightens at the thought of playing HU. Which is why it's also satisfying to bet into them when HU. They get that wonderfully constipated look on their face.
