are these from a hu session?

you guys are still too crazy i think. i dont see the point of routinely going many bets with weak and marginal hands even in a hu match.

this was 15/30. my table emptied and pete sat down.

someone say something about my turn 3bet. i thought it was awesome and pete said it sucked.

[/ QUOTE ]its good, but i dont understand why its interesting... i think you shouldve bet the river.

[/ QUOTE ]

it's closer since a gutshot hit and if he was raising with a 7 he'd probably bet the 7 when i checked to him. so basically both gutshots are betting the river when checked to. im really only getting value from worse pairs and im losing two bets if he raises with a straight or a Q.

anyhow the reason i posted the turn action is because about 95 ppl told me i'd be losing money with the play and that i was retarded for 3betting. i felt like i was ahead so often that it was an easy 3bet.

oh, it was really card dependent. i was only checking a 6, 7, or diamond on the river.

Question: If you are playing a really aggressive opponent, do you want to match his aggression with further aggression or match aggression with a more passive style?

i really like it- i dont know how pete plays but this reeks of a semi-bluff raise on turn. We will be ahead on the turn often. I also like the river check now that the str8 he may have been semi-bluffing with has hit.

i like being passive in position with marginal hands, and aggressive out of position. this is obviously a really broad statement but its also some what true.

i watched stinkypete play tolbiny hu in hula and he def would have bluffed the riv after the turn raise.

[/ QUOTE ]

if you're talking about the first match, i was hungry and tired and after the first hour or so wanted to get the match overwith so i was capping 72o. i don't play like that at all... and i didn't play like that in the second match against him. in fact, i pwned the crap out of him.
