Re: Seeking Online Coach in exchange for percentage of my profits
I specialize in coaching the full ring game online holdem up to the $15/$30 level, where I play. However, I am unsure about your compensation scheme and also about what interaction you expect from your coach.
Regarding compensation, what percentage of the profits would you offer? How can the coach be sure of your profits? How does the coach know you will not just open another account? How long will the coach receive payment? Regarding the coaching, what level of interaction do you expect with your coach? How many hours a week would be required? Best regards, OnlinePokerCoach |

How can the student be sure that the coach will be able to provide instruction that will allow him to crush the game, thus insuring the coach will receive a nice profit? How does the student know if the the coach will just take the money and run and provide no instruction if the student pays him upfront? How long will the student receive instruction? |

Anyone that is serious and is possibly interested in such an arrangement, please pm me so we can discuss this further. [/ QUOTE ] I would think that anyone that is truly serious and possibly interested would pm the prospective student to see if an honest and mutual arrangement can be devised where both parties benefit. Re: Seeking Online Coach in exchange for percentage of my profits
I have received several serious inquiries from some respected posters of this forum and we are discussing what I have proposed to see if a mutual arrangement can be worked out that will benefit both parties.

Someone's pessimistic. I for one think onlinecoach's questions were reasonable. Your questions are up to the student for decision.

Someone's pessimistic. I for one think onlinecoach's questions were reasonable. Your questions are up to the student for decision. [/ QUOTE ] I find this statement very funny as I had viewed onlinecoach's questions as pessimistic to the coaching arrangement I had suggested and the purpose of my questions was to point this out. I am very optimistic that the "coaching model" that I have proposed can work quite well. Yes, all the details need to be worked out so that both parties feel positive about the relationship. Everyone knows that some of the best paid individuals in the workforce are excellent sales persons that work on commission. Does it not follow that an excellent poker coach would stand to earn a much greater income if he is receiving a percentage of the student's profits rather than just charging the student by the hour? I would think that any coach that is extremely confident in their abilities to mold a player into one that can crush the game, would know he stands to earn much more money if he were receiving a percentage of the student's profits. If I do enter into such a coaching arrangement that turns out to be successful, the "commission coach" will be in a very good position to start a lucrative business based upon my model. |
