I ran a Pokerstove analysis against various ranges and my conclusion is that it is -EV. It seems that when you are second best you are down with the fish EV stats. I used to do this too.

Oops [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] Sorry bout the misread, I must have been reading it distracted. Nevertheless KQs still really isn't a hand you want heads up, esp. OOP vs. a TAG. With the cold call there's no way the TAG is making any form of play, though.

There might be some value in the deception, but there isn't in the hand. I can see an argument for this move if you thought the TAG was weak/tight, and that a cap would give you signifigant fold equity versus him later in the hand, but I'm not sure it's an arguemnt that would hold much weight.
