[censored] sportingbet. I cleared a bonus there and they retroactively stole my bonus money. They are a D+ on sportsbookreview.com.

They have covered this very neutrally so far and seem to actually been more on the side with the gambling sites.

Still, the bit with giving the kid his dad's credit card and then seeming somewhat shocked that he was able to play was silly.

Don't you think if a kid uses his parents' credit card it should be the parents' fault and not the site? This seems obvious to me.

By the same logic, all e-commerce and stock-trading on the internet should be banned too.

If a teenager can get a hold of a credit-card or checkbook then it would not be too difficult to set up an account at e-trade, or buy some really expensive items on ebay or cars.com or amazon or best-buy or some clothing chain or wherever.

Obviously an irresponsible kid with their parents' credit-card is dangerous.
Online-gambling is not unique in this respect.

edit - I missed the 60 minutes piece because I was out this evening..but am glad to hear that the reviews from the 2+2'ers are mostly positive and that the report wasn't TOO negative much of the time.
Equally pleased to hear that Ky looked like something of an idiot. Good news.

My Dad had seen the commercials for this 60 minutes and was looking forward to watching it so I look forward to his non-poker-player opinions on the piece.

I agree. I'm glad they only gave that Kyle about 20 seconds.

I think this is actually way in favor of gambling legalization in the US. Way in favor. They made Kyle sound retarded saying that DOJ can't regualte other countries, then they flashed right over to the other guy sounding brilliant saying that people are going to gamble no matter what so the US might as well regulate and tax it.

To note, the kind finally got accepted at Golden Palace, but he'll have to send ID to cashout.
