Re: Responding to whingers
At low limit tables, I've found berating the table coach to be pretty effective.
No one likes table coaches. They're not there to play poker; they're there to tell US how to play poker. No one wants to hear about it. It's the truth and it's embarassing for the table coach to have that pointed out. So, you know, just let them know that they suck and are annoying. |

Re: Responding to whingers
Whinger is a great word and one that everyone should adopt. Same with the phrase, "Spitting the dummy."

Re: Responding to whingers
I dealt with on table coach who wined that I played to tight, that he read all those books, and lost alot of money, he then effectively turned out 4/8 game into a 8/16 game by posting kill blinds from every position he was in, then raising himself, I folded every single hand for an hour, but two, one wich I let him win to feed his ego, the second I killed him and three calling stations with a pair of pocket jacks. Anyway, it was worth the wait, because once he left, every one relaxed and played "proper" poker and I earned 11.50 and hour for my troubles. Any way, I put him on tilt by playing too tight, and winging him with a few good insults on his life. He in effect put everyone on tilt, and I profited.
