[ QUOTE ]
There are no players and when there are they are not good enough; one would be playing there just hoping that a player base would happen, but I know it won't so why bother. And people like to pay rake, so it's not good business to offer the no rake option - if they would remove it and rake normally, and get props, they might find enough idiots to play there and a players base might be formed. Then if they would like to start moving toward no rake, it would work.

[/ QUOTE ]

Since when do people like to pay rake?!

Well, we all now know how you're saving thousands of dollars a month - losing 200 BB is only $400 at 1/2; it's $2000 at 5/10

This is hilarious.

What do you people think it costs to keep this site running.

I'm pretty sure this,

isn't going to pay the bills.

How stupid do you think people are ?? Lets run over and deposit to play at the only table open. So when the site finally shut's down for good are they going to allow everyone to cash-out ?? wishful thinking in my opinion.

No I'm not a shill, but a player who is sick of paying thousands in rake each month.
Locked out of neteller? What the f are you talking about?
I've cashed out twice on zerorake and had no problems. The site is run by tigergaming and is not going to shut down.

Ok, I haven't gottn flamed in a while, so hee goes.

If Zerorake is offering 6 month free memberships and the members do not pay any rake, lets say there are a few games going for arguments sake, cause I think the concept is a good one if you can get people behind it, where does the site get any $ from? I know Party makes a lot, and they spend a lot on sign up bonusus, referral bonuses, reloads, affiliates, etc, but they are generating rake that is generating money for the company to go on. If your site is not generating any money in rake, where is it coming from?
Because, if I could learn this secret, well, I could find a way to open a business, have my company not have any income, make millions of dollars persoanlly and retire. Thanks in advance for the 'secrets'

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.. English my second language and all..

It's a loss leader to get traffic onto the site so that it will have some mass. They need mass so that the site appears welcoming to the recreational players they will proceed (I assume) to direct marketing.

Many sites, assuming they pay honestly, take losses (some quite substantial) on the propping crew when starting up. This is kinda, sorta, almost like, similar idea.

Party doesn't spend any money on bonuses, they profit from them. I paid and average of $140 in rake to clear each of the last Party and PokerNow $100 reload bonuses. Easily noted using PokerTracker.

Party could offer perpetually unlimited reloads, like Absolute does, and still be a multi-million dollar company. But they don't need too, they already have 50k players where Absolute doesn't.
