Is it just me, or are the lyrics to "My country 'tis of thee" gramatically incorrect? It shoud be

My country 'tis of thee,
sweet land of liberty,
I sing. . . .

or

My country,
sweet land of liberty,
'tis of thee I sing. . . .

Why does it say "of thee" twice?
