I know one person who says he's made about 3.5 bb/100 8-tabling over a long period of time. I doubt many are capable of it though.

It's cool. I thought you might be one of those 15/30 guys that played 3/6 way back in the day when there were 5-6 players to see every flop.

when I was doing my OIC, I played just about all shorthanded. if a table filled up, I'd leave. I thought the players played really, really well compared to the other levels

What day was this? I remember playing 3/6 online some when I was in college (1999-2003) and the games were never that loose.

It's been my experience that at 3/6, most of the donks are in the full games. They usually sit out when a game gets to 6-handed or less.
