I am sort of getting a kick out of this since I spent 5 days playing at the Wynn a few weeks ago and I am, as many here know, underage. I am trying to remember speaking to a floorman named Michael, I think I remember him but there is a very good chance I am mistaken. Either wya, I just felt like posting because I got a kick out of this revelation. To the OP: If you hadn't posted this you would have been fine, now that you have apparently there's a bounty on your head.

You should be fine. I played on a daily basis at all of the mainstream poker rooms at age 20(this was only last year). I was ID'D about 3 times in the span of almost 2 years now. Whenever I would get carded, I would just tell them no and walk out.

I don't know about wynn or other rooms...but I know of a guy who is only 19 who has played in a couple of satellites at the WSOP without any problem as well as some ring-games at a couple other places. His idea about playing in the WSOP main-event satellites was that it would be 'really cool' to play in it...even though there's no chance in hell that he would be able to get any of his money if he happened to qualify and then cash. I think he wanted to be the only 19-year-old ever to make it into the money at the main-event. You young'uns crack me up with your logic sometimes!! (I feel old). Anyway - I would think your chances of successfully pulling this off at the Wynn have been dramatically reduced right about now and you may want to re-think your plan!! [/ QUOTE ] I'm pretty sure I know who you are referring to and his motivation was to get a rack full of $500 tourney chips, not to get a seat. The tourney chips are easily turned into cash.

I didn't meet you, although I think I met everyone else in management except Deborah. The experience at the Wynn was excellent, the staff was wonderful with the exception of a slightly over zealous overnight floor on Sunday/Monday morning. He was fair, but a bit heavy handed in personality which is counter productive to develop the room (in all fairness he seemed like a good guy, just a bit heavy handed for a room catering to locals and tourists alike). Two words of advice: 1) Bring Daniel's heads up games to the rail. Its a HUGE tourist draw 2) Bring the 9/18 games to the rail where the baby NL games are currently held. The numbers of chips on the table will excite wandering tourists, which further feeds the poker economy. 3) Move the baby NL games to the rail closest to the parking lot entrance. There is a huge amount of traffic there, seeing live no limit the moment customers walk in will help encourage new players. Keep up the good work... TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

In fact, the first match started on the rail because I set it up for there. Daniel didn’t like the idea, and didn’t think his opponents would either, so it was parked where it now gets played. The truth is I walk around every night and snicker at how many underage guys there are playing (or at least look underage). I started playing in casinos when I was underage, so I know how it feels. The other reason you don’t have anything to worry about is because tomorrow is my last day. Back to playing for a living. I play in the main event on Saturday, so when I win it all there will be a good story that I quit my job the day before the tournament started!
