fwiw i didnt mean i fell while sanding at a stopsign, as i was brakeing for the stopsign i unknowingly hit a patch of gravel and dumped my bike. i think i was going about 30-40.

my knee is dow at least two or three layers in one part, but on both my forearms i have the rash. the road rash is actually worse then having your knee immobilized.

and when i said i felt some bone floating i ment asides from my kneecap, like a sliver by itself.

all in all very

Maybe you should get your knee checked out. Is the bike badly scratched?

can you guys check my math?

motorcycle+stopsign+testing front brake+spilt gravel=knee the size of a basketball

[/ QUOTE ]

If the swelling does not come down in a couple days, get it check out.
Nice job on the fall! I have not done the fallen at the stop sign thing but I did do the bike lay down which took out a few layers of skin on my hip, I'll take busted knee over road rash anyday.

wait, you're a biker chick? from that one pic in your photobucket album, you didn't exactly look like one

edit: unless you ride one of those Vespa scooters, in which case I would believe that.
