Re: Favorite Final Table from WPT Season 1 or 2?
This final table was my favourite also. I also like listening to Daniel Negreanu and Erick Lindgren's audio commentary on this final table in the WPT dvd.
[ QUOTE ] The final table with Daniel, Gus and Hoyt. When Hoyt and Gus get heads-up, that is some incredible poker. Those guys are re-raising, calling and bluffing with horrible hands and neither of them will give up. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Favorite Final Table from WPT Season 1 or 2?
The episode with Seif/Hon Le (At The Bike, I think. Season 1) was the first episode I caught and I loved it. It's tough to choose a favorite ep because I like so many of them. Moneymaker played great at Bay 101 and the final hand was a doozy. Watching Layne Flack owning Jerry Buss heads up at the Invitational was great. Negreanu/Lindgren heads up was good stuff as well. Anything with Gus, Antonio, Hellmuth, Negreanu...all pretty entertaining.

Re: Favorite Final Table from WPT Season 1 or 2?
Best WPT final table I've ever seen is Borgota (season 2).
Very interesting pots between Carlos Mortensen and David Openheim, great plays by Noli Francisco and Charlie Shoten (who must live on another planet) + an old guy who makes an amazing and correct laydown preflop with jacks on a shortstack and an internet guy who doesn't play well. |
