Re: What are your thoughts on the continuous shuffle now?
[ QUOTE ]
I wouldn't have played the hands the same, but you weren't asking about the hands, so I'll limit my comments to: Why'd you bet the river on the first hand? Superstition is the mind-killer. And, what are you talking about, continuous shuffle? [/ QUOTE ] Party uses a continuous shuffle. That is the cards are in constant shuffle throughout the hand vs a set deck at the beginning of the hand like happens at a B&M cardroom. |

Re: What are your thoughts on the continuous shuffle now?
how come you are so passive w/ JJ with all of your hands? You had limpers, you hit 2 sets, the heart flush was a back door flush... shouldn't you be more aggressive w/ JJ?

Re: What are your thoughts on the continuous shuffle now?
My thoughts are: raise PF :P, fold the flop in hand 2, bet the flop in hand 3, and give some thought to folding on the river in 3 because he's not bluffing into 3 people (but I'd probably call, but not if it was 2/3 pot).

Would you notice if it was JcTd, Jc2h, JcAc? All those hands share the jack of clubs too...

how come you are so passive w/ JJ with all of your hands? You had limpers, you hit 2 sets, the heart flush was a back door flush... shouldn't you be more aggressive w/ JJ? [/ QUOTE ] Hand 1: Preflop: no comment Postflop: I wanted to see what he'd do on the turn before I decide what I was gonna do. I usually think raises like that preflop are pairs, or strong aces. I was interested in seeing a turn card first. The ace was the one card I didn't want to see, but he checked it through. So he either had a monster, or crap. Hand 2: Preflop: "hooks UTG" Postflop: LOL. No comment at this time. Hand 3: Preflop: I always raise here on Level 2+. Level 1 I can go either way. Postflop: I checked the flop because my position sucked, hoping to check raise or check call. The board is a little coordinated, but not so much so that I was scared. In retrospect, a bet here might have been better. The turn was beginning to make me feel uncomfortable. It now put the flush draw on the board too. I'm not too worried about T8 or 58. Comments on the best bet amount on the turn? River was one of three cards I did not want to see. |

Party uses a continuous shuffle. That is the cards are in constant shuffle throughout the hand vs a set deck at the beginning of the hand like happens at a B&M cardroom. [/ QUOTE ] which means that the exact millisecond that u click the 'call' button on someone with a 1-outer determines if u get sucked out on or not...so if u do, u have nobody to blame but yourself! |

Besides PP, I'm curious what other sites use the continuous shuffle. Specifically, does Stars? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, and I'm in a good mood. |
