yes and no -

rumor was he was safer spending 6 months in jail then rolling over on the dealer - apparently he was a doozie with a lot of connections to people you don't wanna make unhappy -

that, btw, is total hearsay and totally unsubstantiated -

Some guy got busted who used yayo, said Mike knew all the big players in town, so a narc befriended Mike and acted buddy buddy with him for many of months, then asked him if he could get some yayo for a mob guy who was in town, Mike said yes, they busted him for trafficking. The case was so airtight, they plea bargained it down from 25 years to 6 months. If he actually fought it hard he probably wouldn't of had to spend anytime in jail.

haha ... yeah I was being sarcastic, just thought it was unfair of what they did to him, and how the government handled it. Their war on drugs is BS.

Entrapment how?

He was caught with drugs on him. Unless the dealer was an undercover cop (doesn't sound likely, if he was offered immunity), there's no entrapment.

It's entrapment if the police trick a law abiding citizen into committing a crime. Things such as befriending a person and then asking them to commit a crime as a favor are entrapment. So Mike has to show that he doesn't deal drugs, then he can prove entrapment.

this isn't true.. i wouldn't spend 3 days in jail to avoid upsetting your average local coke dealer. coke dealers are not neccesarily violent criminals.

Even if it was entrapment, which it probably wasn't. Entrapment almost never works as a defense.
