yeah, i agree that the PFR is debateable. It's just a move that I've been trying out lately to switch up my game. Obviously it worked here, but I don't think that it would be a profitable move in the long run.

He only dropped half the limpers. If this was going to pick up the pot even half the time then I'd be all for it, but in these loose games I doubt this is going to happen.

Most of the time, you're going to hit a flop with an over card or two. If you played perfectly post flop it would probably be a +EV move, but you're probably going to bet the flop, be called and check check or check fold the turn or river.

In other games it's a fine move, and there is NOTHING wrong with experimentation.


Besides... sometimes you hit sets : )
