80. Changed from single to married, and it went up to 81. Changed non-smoker to smoker, and it went down to 79. WTF?

I refuse to believe that getting married only adds one year, and not smoking only adds 2 years.

Isn't there a question about having smoked in the past as well? It may not give you full credit for not smoking if you smoked in the past.

Isn't there a question about having smoked in the past as well? It may not give you full credit for not smoking if you smoked in the past.

Hey, I'm 26 and quit last month. That damn well better have added more than 2 years to my life expectancy. This survey is flawed in several ways, one of them being that it doesn't ask you how long you smoked before quitting.

Ummmm...yea. It's an online survey. Are you really depending on its predictive powers to be incredibly accurate?
