[ QUOTE ]
but i'd like it more on QQ6r, because if you are called you pretty much have to give it up (when sometimes you give up best hand if they take a stab w/ draw for example) but if you're called on a QQ6r board you are behind. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah.. underbetting on a steal multi-way with players still to act AND draw(s) on the board... don't like it. And while your 77 may be good at this point, you need any callers to check it down to the river, and NOT make a pair above 77. |

And while your 77 may be good at this point, you need any callers to check it down to the river, and NOT make a pair above 77. [/ QUOTE ] I know... Not what i ment. I mean, if you raise the flop, they could call (on this board) with a worse current hand, but move you (easily) off your (potentially winning, but very unlikely) best hand. so... QQ6r a bluff there works because you're betting no one has a Queen, and laying (with half pot bet) 1 to win 2.. not to mention the few times you turn a boat, you'll win a big one. And I think 33%+ no one has a queen. On this board I should take back my original stance the bluff "was good," due to the 2flush, and say if it was rainbow i'd like it. you're right. |

It's 6 handed! [/ QUOTE ] I agree that this would be a better spot on a rainbow board. But the 6 players I think helps the bluff, becuase no one in their right mind would throw a bluff in there w/ 6 players w/out a Q or a boat w/ action before them. It's like a giant squeeze play. Not that it matters, but everyone folded this time |
