Re: Party Poker Button on Internet Explorer, can you say Invasive ! !
If you right click in the area where the button was placed in IE and then go to customize you can remove it

I hope everyone else joins me in emailing Party requesting instructions for how to remove this junk. [/ QUOTE ] I already did. But screw instructions. They installed it. THey can uninstall it. This is the last straw for me. If this isn't handled by tomorrow I'll go elsewhere. |

Re: Party Poker Button on Internet Explorer, can you say Invasive ! ! !
OK, maybe I'm just ignorant or something, but I honestly don't see how big a deal it is? Its one, easily removable button. Show me they're tracking where I go when I'm online, then I'll rant and rave. Until then, its 3 clicks to peace and and empty toolbar for all you guys...and while you're at it, I hope you've emailed AOL about putting an AIM button there you didn't ask for.

Also, anyone could simply use a different browser. I almost
always use Opera, so I had to get that dusty IE out just to see for myself! |

Thanks for the technical help [/ QUOTE ] You're welcome Terry is right, get Mozilla. Mozilla is probably the best browser out there, packed with cutting-edge features. etscape is based on Mozilla but Mozilla doesn't come with all the AOL bloat. SpaceAce |

I hope you've emailed AOL about putting an AIM button there you didn't ask for. [/ QUOTE ] The difference is AIM and Yahoo tell you there are doing it and its your choice to install or not. Yes its easy to remove. But I didn't ask for it and they didn't disclose it. Thats the problem |
