I'm not a good player, but when I first saw the hand, I thought it was a fold because:
1) You showed so much strength and are obviously going nowhere 2) The 9 is not at all a scare card, diminishing the chances your opponent is bluffing. In the heat of battle, I would've called, hoping that Villain is nuts and is on a desperation bluff or is overplaying T9 or something, since he IS an unknown. But I don't think 1 in 13 unknowns are this nuts, so if you had the discipline, you could probably save a buck or two by folding. |
