I have an Idea for a Movie

If you do have an idea for a movie what can you do short of writing the whole thing yourself?

Imagine Kanes movie was original, but he didnt have the skills to fill in on the script and add some character development stuff. Is there somewhere to get help, or even just sell your blurb idea?

I doubt you could sell an idea unless it was awesomely good. Write it yourself I'd guess, or find a friend who digs writing and work with him/her.

Selling scripts - even completed great ones - is no picnic, I'm guessing.


There's a good book about screenplays and stuff by William Goldman (wrtoe Butch Cassidy) - 'Adventures in the screen trade', that is a great read, BTW.

it should be like "a wonderful life" where he misses but then gets to see what would have happened if he made it. after he misses, he should find a wife/jesus/dayjob and then the rest of the movie should be him watching what could have been, which is him being an nfl star and do huge rails of coke off beyonce's ass.

then at the end of the movie he can decide that wife/jesus/dayjob aren't that great after all and jump off a bridge.

So when in this summary do we find out the main character is actually gay, and hiding it due to deep-seeded emotions dating back from when he was raped by a nun?

You should put in a chase sequence. The killer flees on horseback with the girl, the cop's after them on a motorcycle and it's like a battle between motors and horses, like technology vs. horse.
