Does anyone remember the battle of champions, where Juha folds and says 'I'll let you get away with that deuce three this time', and Howard replies 'you won't be finding any deuces in my hand.' Mike Sexton then tries to explain to the audience that Howard said he didn't have deuces in his hand, which CLEARLY wasn't the case. I think that's how it happened, but Mike Sexton really screwed up there. Howard meant he wouldn't find one deuce, not two..anyone know what I'm talking about?

Oh, I almost forgot

Chad: "Oh, he's picked up KQo, one of your best starting hands. He'll definitely be playing this."

I find the color commentator for "Late Night Poker" to be extremely entertaining. I don't remember his name though.

Sexton and Van Patten must have a good brand of antibacterial soap...(cough<buttkissers>cough)

I'm also tired of tv poker shows in general. Nothing but selected hands shown out of context. The Turning Stone final table was the best and I hope to see more of them.

Sexton? Not on the episode I saw. He was practically accusing Paul Phillips of cheating every time Phillips would say what his hand was on an all-in.

X is first to act this time and he's picked up a big hand, the ace-three of hearts! He says he's going to raise, and rightfully so -- he's got the goods!

Oh but now look at this, Y has picked up a monster hand too, a pair of wired sixes. You've got to think he would at LEAST call with this. NO! He opts to lay it down! What a tight fold.

And it's a good thing for him, because Z in the small blind has picked up the Hilton sisters, a pair of lovely ladies, AKA Mary Kate and Ashley -- a pair of wired queens. He's already got a little bit of money invested in the pot, so let's see how he decides to play this. It will cost him over half of his chips if he chooses to call here. And he's done it! He's gone all in!

The action is back to X and I can guarantee you that his ace high has shrunk up a bit in his mind. Z is *really* putting him to the test here -- but he quickly calls! Now I'm a little bit stunned by how quickly he called. But it didn't cost him much, so I suppose he can afford to gamble a little bit here and try to knock Z out of this tournament.

"If the Unabomber moves in here --- wait, he's done it... and TJ is gonna lay it down. What a great poker mind! I want to party with this guy -- then I want to get a restraining order."

Vince and Chad are occassionally amusing but generally bad.

Sexton is good. Lon McCarran (sp?) is a douche bag.

I watched Howard Lederer do commentary at that 10K buy in tournament at Turning Stone Casino in NY this year on Fox sports net. He was great. They don't call him the professor for nothing.

Please man. Chad doesn't have the slightest understanding of pot odds, blinds, stack sizes etc. All he understands is the absolute value of hands.

In the TOC he called Greg Raymer's call of a re-raise with 98o a 'meltdown' even though the pot was laying him enormous odds. He continued to be bewildered by this concept throughout Raymer's final hands. He seemed to genuinely think Greg was steaming or something.

There was also an incident in one of the NLHE shows before the main. It's folded around to a short stack in the small blind who moves all-in with K7. The BB has K9 and busts him. Chad totally berates the guy, basically saying that K7 is such a bad hand you should never go all-in with it. Chad went really went off on the guy and he was totally wrong.

Very, very painful stuff to listen to.
