Re: Best site for HU Cashgames`?
probably because there are more fixed limit players in general.
I am a NL player, and strongly recommend heads-up NL play. In a ring game, you can usually tell within a couple minutes wether you'll stack the guy you're playing heads-up. I am totally biased (I hate fixed limit poker in general), but I think that heads-up limit games are silly, unless it's in sit n go form, where you're guaranteed to see enough of your opponent's hands to get a good feel for him. |

UB caps rake at 50c per hand [/ QUOTE ] can somebody confirm this?? (too lazy to look it up myself right now). I really don't know about this stuff and am sorry to doubt you...but I thought i had read on here on more than one occasion that the heads-up rake on UB was kinda sucky. Of course, the quality of the HU rake-structure might vary by site depending on limit played (3/6 HU might be lousy on site-A...but 50/100 HU it might be the best out there). I rail-birded a 2+2'er playing 100/200 or something against a donk HU on UB. 2+2'er clobbered him but they kept it friendly. 2+2'er suggested that if they want to play again they do it on a different site (because of rake considerations I believe). That was another instance where I got the impression that UB wasn't the best for HU. |
