Re: i made a turn raise, derrrr
Anyone else three bet this on the flop? Charge SB max for drawing and makes the rest of the hand a lot easier to play ie the turn.

so r u saying i should have limped pf? [/ QUOTE ] No. I think the raise is fine. I just feel more uncomfortable with KJs postflop than I do with most of my other raising hands. I still usually raise with it, though. Similarly, I don't like getting 3-bet at all when I open-raise AJo in EP. But I still open-raise AJo in EP. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't mind this at all, but would like to hear the arguements against. Note here that the player count is wrong and this is 3 handed when MP1 check-raises the flop. If I take this line I am checking through a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or folding to a bet. I am bet/folding a non- [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I am calling a river bet when I check-through the turn and taking a free-showdown when my turn bet is called. Opinions.... |

Re: i made a turn raise, derrrr
I don't think you're ahead often enough to warrant putting in 2 more BB's with no guarantee of that getting you to showdown...not to mention the times you get rivered when you are ahead. If you were ahead of MP1 on the flop you're probably not on the turn. If the 9 weren't a spade I'd like it a bit more. If you had an ace kicker I'd like it a bit more.
