Note to Minnesotans: It’s the preseason, it doesn’t matter.

Don't waste your breath. They'll never learn.

(Only a month and a half until Wolves training camp.)

I don't freak out about losing $300 in a 6/12 (although it would not make me happy), I just didn't find the games as soft as I was hoping for. Remember though, my live play is limited to the Moose Lodge in my hometown, where I am one of the three best players in the room, and three days of small stakes Vegas games, with many tourists saying stuff like, "wait, now am I allowed to bet $6 on this round, or do I have to bet $12?"

I didn't beat the 6/12 by much (certainly within the margin of error for "break even"), but it's hard to tell with such a small sample size.

Hope to catch up to you next visit.

Milo (or should I say Dan) ...

It was nice to meet you and have the opportunity to play against another 2+2er. How did you end up doing in that 8-16 game I sent you to Thursday night? That was a very juicy game.

Anyway, just wanted to remind you that we will be in Vegas from 9/8 through 9/14, staying at the Mandalay Bay. Perhaps we could get together with the better halves and have dinner (that is if I can drag mine away from the Poker table).

Also, sorry providing you a hat caused so much grief

The hat was cool, although it did take me a while to figure out how I had "won" it.

The game was juicy, but my cards were not. The fishiest two left shortly thereafter, and I left down a few bucks around 3:30. I guess that's poker for you . Went looking for you before I left and the floor guy pointed me to a woman who identified herself, saying, "I'm Will's wife, for now." Hmmm...

I'm worried that everyone else finds the 6/12 so much easier than I do, and clearly need to work on my game a bit.

Milo ...

My wife says that to ensure for the time when she runs into someone with more money than I, so that she has the opportunity of trading up ...

As she says, she is always taking applications for her next sugar daddy ... you interested? Better bring a humongous bank roll.
