I think you read the payout structure wrong, RD.
Everyone who has advanced gets ~$2,700.
Final table (two wins) guarantees $10K, and the pay increases for a FT are standard.

I don't think you understand what I was saying. I was saying that it is unusual for a one table sit-n-go, which essentially is what the final table is, to have a payout structure like this. Normally finishing in 9th is as good as finishing in 4th, but there is a big difference in money here. And no, it is not like a normal FT because all FT players start with the same amount of chips.

Good point about the payout structure. Here's a hypothetical... do you agree to a 9 way split as soon as the final table starts? Approximately $55k per person for an even split. Not bad for a $1000 buy-in. I would probably take the deal.

I have a feeling this is going to be one tight final table given that everyone has the same amount of chips and the payout increases so quickly.

A min raise of 20 just took a pot down.

someone is a fool on this radio show.

"the chip average is still 1,500 after 20 minutes of play. that's amazing"

the other guy was like "ya that's because no one has gone out yet and they all started with 1,500"

When does talk about a chop usually start? Is it in the chat box that we can read? I think it would be really interesting to see how the negotiations go for a big tournament like this.
