Re: Is it over???
Do the Sox have too much karma for the Cards?
Do you know the real meaning of karma? GoT |

Re: Is it over???
Yeah, all they have to do is win 4 of the next 5 games against a great team. That's no biggie.
Let me be clear. I love the Cardinals. I've been a fan my entire life. I was heartbroken by the Twins in 1987 and pissed off at Don Denkinger in 1985. By stating that I think it's over, I am not in any way jumping off of some bandwagon that challenger84 has claimed that I am on. I am only stating my opinion as a knowledgable baseball fan. |

Re: Is it over???
Yea, with the next 3 at home, where they are 6-0 so far in the postseason. If the next 3 were in Boston, I might be more pessimistic, but I guarantee they will be going back to Boston for game 6, and after that, who knows? It looks like Schilling is out for the series, so game 6 could be very winnable.

Re: Is it over???
Challenger,
what makes you so confident it will go six games? the red sox have the pitching advantage in the next two games and the cards have been given MANY chances to win games one and two and just couldnt get it done. i dont knock you for having blind confidence in your team, but you have WATCHED the last two games right? |

Re: Is it over???
well, Boston has a few things to be worried about too. STL has been hitting the ball well, just right at certain people, plus they are going to STL where Millar's bat won't be in the lineup, and Ortiz is playing 1b. I think the National League style of ball hurts the AL teams much more than the AL style hurts NL teams.

Re: Is it over???
If you've been watching the Cardinals postseason games, you must have noticed their decided home field advantage. They beat good LA pitchers and Houston pitchers with relative ease (game 7 anyone?). 6-0 at home is not a fluke. I know for a fact the Cards will win at least 2 of 3 in St. L.
