I'm glad you posted this - we are coming to Vegas in Feb. for a conference which is at Mandalay Bay - but we love GVR and were thinking of staying there and driving to MB each morning (to get there before 8:00am) and coming back in the early evening or late afternoon. Would that be ridiculous/impossible?
We already have a room reserved in Thehotel.

If you are driving from GVR to MB at around 7:30 AM it will probably take about 20-25 minutes depending on construction and accidents. By that I mean, if there is construction or accidents, it will be much longer. I would reccommend leaving earlier or staying on the strip.

This morning was my record, I made it to Wynn in 9 minutes from my place in Henderson. I averaged 105 MPH. This was at 4 AM.

What is your travel time to and from your most reuglar casino you play in ? How near is the closest one ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am 15-20 minutes from any strip/downtown casino. The nearest poker room to me is about 2.5 miles from my home, maybe five minutes of driving time. I live in Henderson, which is a southeastern suburb of Las Vegas.

I live 3 miles from the center strip poker rooms, but it takes about 15 minutes to drive there... almost all of that time is spent waiting at lights.

A 10-15 minute walk to the Hilton. About a 2-3 minute drive.
