Default Re: Party down?

Yesterday was the first time I had a game get cancelled on Party. And today is the second time.

Hopefully restarting their servers fixed things up, but maybe they need some new ones.

Default OT: Why do we bother with SNGs???

Looks like SNGs are back, so I'll take this time to share an OT story! I decide to sit down at a NL25 game to while away the time until the SNGs come back...

I'm taken to a wonderful family pot table. First hand, AKo. I raise to $2 in MP after an early limper. Button calls, limper folds. OK, so I'm new here, and the family sits it out. Flop comes J-10-rag, I bet out $3 and take the pot.

I fold for a round until I'm in MP with 76o. Everyone's limping, what the hell, the SNGs just came back, so with my $2 or so profit it's a freeroll! The problem is that the solid lady to my left makes it $2 to go.

But everyone calls! What the hell, it's back to me, 6 players calling in front of me, easy call! Flop comes 7-6-4 rainbow. I do the happy dance of sweet sweet love. UTG+1 bets out $4. I raise all-in $24 more. The solid lady calls, UTG+1 folds, and my two-pair conquers her predictable KK.

The table captain yells "CALLING WITH 76o TO A RAISE????"

I'm considering taking a break from SNGs for the day now!
