Everything good that can happen in this hand starts with raising preflop. Absoltuely a must.

I'd probably just bet the flop, frequently it's fun to get raised and then donk a non spade turn.

I normally lay A/9s down PF but I'm a little weak... However after the flop I would of played it the exact same way which would include calling a bet on the river.
