I think you've got it backwards. From www.billofrights.us:

[/ QUOTE ]
Amendment I

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment II

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment III

Every soldier shall, in time of peace, be quartered in a house, without the consent of the owner, and in time of war, in a manner to be prescribed by law.

etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

Very funny.

This thread is important, and these issues need to be discussed! Trying to shut this thread down is stifling free speech and violates the 2nd Amendment rights of the OP.

[/ QUOTE ]

2nd amendment does apply to 2+2 as it isn't a government entity.

You mean that you can't own a gun or serve in the National Guard on 2+2?

You're as good as you're ever going to be after six months

Minimal benefits

Most pros and casino management look down on dealers

You are surrounded by depressed, addicted, mean, and lonely soles - It only takes one loser/[censored] to ruin a table...not the healthiest of environments.

Hard to convince yourself you are doing something meaningful/worthwhile with your life.

It gets tiring continually making sure players play in turn, act in a timely manner, don't take shots, etc.

If you love people, poker, and are very patient/forgiving dealing may be a good job for you. Otherwise...

No, it means that the Constitution requires that 2+2 have a gun on a certain percentage of its book covers.

2nd ammendment is right to bear arms and to serve in militia. 1st ammendment is freedom of speech, press, religion, and to assemble.

[/ QUOTE ]

And the 1st Amendment only prohibits the government from interferring with your freedom of speech. There is nothing there that prohibits me from LEGALLY interferring with someone's freedom of speech.

People have no right to freedom of speech on a bulletin board paid for by another. Another example: people have no 1st Amendment rights on my property. Especially when I choose to exercise my 2nd Amendment rights

You need to learn your laws. Freedom of speach is non existant in a privately owned forum. They can lock, delete, or even ban without any reason at all.

I have the OP on ignore so I dont even know or care what was said by him.

Serious question:

Why is it that the dealers look down on the floor people and vice versa? It seems kind of strange to me because most floor people were dealers first?

Can anyone give some reasonable clues?
