Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
Totally sucks, I put my goals post in the micro section and that isn't archived as well I guess.
I am a bit short currently on the money goal, but it will be a close race, I'm gonna need some good solid days but I have some unplanned vacations coming up. I'm still very happy and accomplished or passed some I never thought I would. |

Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
As always, a gambler is never happy. I wanted to play a lot of live tournaments, and play regualrly above $15/$30. Well, I played a few tournaments - cashed in a few, but overall barely broke even.
As for live game (and online), I played some higher limit NL (up to $10/$25 blind live) and did fine. However, after starting well at $30/$60, I took a few wild rides - all downhill. Thirty-sixty and me, not very good company. I should be happy, but I always want more. Good luck to everybody in the last 5 weeks of the year. Dogmeat [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
Right where I wanted to be in terms of everything. This year surpassed my expectations in everyway.
However I am not happy about it. As I have learned so much since January, I realise now, my expectations were too low. This next year will be very interesting. I am not quite sure how to set goals this year. |

Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
1. Quit other gambling games and sports betting.
Well I did other gambling, but down $30k on sports betting =) though I haven't bet them in last two months. 2. Tilt less. Almost the same, 3-4 tilt sessions this year. 3. Care less about money. No way, I'm actually caring more about it because I began saving money for house & other stuff. 4. Enjoy more about poker. No, I still hate this game. 5. Do enough(5k/month) from sit n gos and tournaments. Switched back to playing mostly NL in early february and after that I have done way over my goal. 6. Win one big tournament, 1st prize >$50k So far the biggest tournament win is $13000. But I will play some big live tournaments in December aswell as the usual online tournaments. So maybe.. |

Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
I'm honing in on $80K which was my goal for 2005. My goal for 2006 is $105K for online and B&M play combined.

Re: How\'d you do on your 2005 poker goals?
My goal for the year was to pay off about $20k of college debt that just wouldn't go away by multi-tabling the party $3/6.
Well I did that, and I funded two expensive holidays, and spent a boat load more money, and I've been now running good at $20/40. Over-acheiving rules |
