Now if that defense was a little better. [/ QUOTE ] they had something good at footballoutsiders.com about how cincy's really focused on stopping the run, which has lead to teams passing all over them and not getting any picks lately. so instead of being very good agauinst the past and very bad against the run, they're horrible against the past and average against the run... yeah, things don't look good for the playoffs now. |

well maybe they can start with the bears and the 6 or whatever number of TOs they forced against them
they are pretty good at creating TOs |

Re: Carson Palmer signs biggest contract in NFL history..
Signing Palmer was a great move (I'm a cincy-area native).
Our pass defense, particularly Deltha, is horribly overrated. Those INTs, largely a product of luck, belie a secondary that has been atrocious against the pass. Of course the Colts pissed all over it, but the browns and bills? Come on! |

Re: Carson Palmer signs biggest contract in NFL history..
Even if int's aren't reliant completely on luck, they certainly depend on the opposing quarterback and are a high variance statistic right? Not the best thing to have in the playoffs.
