Re: A Must Read
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Say what? [/ QUOTE ] Double predestination - reformed heresy. "Why some and not others?" is the Crux theologorum of the Orthodox theologian. [/ QUOTE ] Please explain this in detail if possible. [/ QUOTE ] The Canons do not explicitly advocate what is referred to as double-predestination. Many (if not most) calvinists do not hold to double-predestination. Here is an explanation that might be helpful from a Calvinist who does hold to double-predestination: http://www.desiringgod.org/library/t...en_points.html |

Re: A Must Read
This concept/idea is so absurd to me I can't understand how anyone could possibly think otherwise.

Re: A Must Read
I can't believe you're actually reading theology. Next thing you know you will be opening Calvin's Institutes. Oh no!

Re: A Must Read
This is only a must read for those wishing to understand those christian denominatins based on calvinistic theology. It will not help you understand the catholic, episcopalian, methodist and other such churches.
